6th September, The Defence Day of Pakistan was observed with national enthusiasm in the memory of 1965’s martyrs at the UET Lahore. In his message Vice Chancellor, UET Prof. Dr. Fazal Ahmad Khalid stated that Pakistan is a peace loving country and it has the capability to give the full response to its enemy through defensive strategy. He further said that it is a need of modern era to adopt that unity, spirit, and sacrifices which were demonstrated by martyrs of that time, so that world may know that Pakistan nation is not oblivious of its defense. A walk was held on this occasion in which Director Student Affairs Prof. Dr. Asif Ali Qaiser, Dr. Neelam Naz, Dr. Shoaib, Registrar Abid Umer, Dr. Tanveer Qasim, and Public Relations Officer Ali Ashraf along with students participating.
