Kashmir Solidarity Day observed at UET Lahore.

Lahore ( ) To show the solidarity with Kashmiri brothers and sisters University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore organized a solidarity walk in campus lead by Vice Chancellor UET Prof. Dr. Aziz Akbar. A photographic exhibition was also arranged to highlight the brutalities of Indian armed forces in Indian-Held Kashmir. “This exhibition has been organized to focus and highlight the Kashmir issue and human rights violations in Indian-occupied Kashmir,” said Vice Chancellor UET Lahore Prof. Dr. Aziz Akbar. He highlighted the importance of Kashmir and how it has been occupied by Indian forces illegally. He said, “till today, Indian held Kashmir has been the victim of Indian oppression. Thousands of innocent Kashmiris have been martyred by the Indian forces.” “Kashmir is a core issue of contention between Pakistan and India which must be resolved for the sake of peace and stability in the region” he added. He emphasized to empower the Kashmiris with the right of determination in the light of UN resolutions. He also said, “Sacrifices of Kashmiris will never be wasted, and we support the peaceful struggle of the people for this cause.” Along with Vice Chancellor, Deans, Faculty members, officers and a large number of students participated by displaying banners and placards in the walk.
