PEC Team visits UET Lahore
Team Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) visited the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore. The purpose of this visit was to see the labs, faculty and infrastructure facilities available to students for the accreditation of six departments including Department of Electrical Engineering, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Department of Metallurgical Engineering, Department of Mining Engineering, Department of Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering and Department of Geological Engineering.
Vice Chancellor UET Prof. Dr. Fazal Ahmad Khalid welcomed team members and briefed them regarding the role of UET in Pakistan membership with Washington Accord, research publications by faculty members, status of Ph.D. faculty, agendas, different curricular and co-curricular activities in the university.
PEC team find the faculty, staff, labs and infrastructure requirements according to the criteria and made some commendations for the improvements. Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Fazal Ahmad Khalid welcomed the suggestions and ensured team members to integrate valuable input for the greater interest of students
