Lahore : University of Engineering and Technology organizes an orientation
ceremony to welcome the students of session 2017. The orientation ceremony was
unanimously held UET Lahore and sub campuses. A large number of students attended the ceremony. The students were briefed about scholarships, Alumni Association, transportation facilities, sports department, hostels information, semester rules and regulation and other various other departments of university. The formal ceremony started with national anthem, followed by recitation from Holy Quran. Registrar Muhammad Asif briefed the students about university progress throughout the years. Prof Dr. Muhammad Ali Maud,
convener admission committee gave a presentation about semester rules and
regulations. Prof. Dr. Asif Ali Qaiser, Director Students Affair introduced the coming
students with different societies working under Directorate of student affairs. The students had a campus visit at the end of orientation session.
