LAHORE – “The progress and prosperity of University is directly connected with the interest and cooperative approach. So, in this regards the services of teaching staff are commendable. I hope that TSA will surely promote the positive actions and create harmony to become task achievers for the betterment of UET, Lahore.” It was said by Vice-Chancellor University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore Prof. Dr. Aziz Akbar while talking to the teachers on the occasion of elections by Teaching Staff Association at UET.
At this occasion, the newly elected President Dr. Amanat Ali Bhatti said, “TSA is truly a representative organization of teaching staff. It will deliver their best as it is desired in the minds of the university. It will not only serve the university but also play a vital role in the welfare of teaching staff.” He also introduced the newly elected body individually and briefed the participants about the previous year’s performance of TSA and also ensured to continue the efforts for stabilizing varsity more and more. At this moment, Vice Chancellor UET Prof. Dr. Aziz Akbar distributed shields among former and newly elected office bearers.
Keeping in this mind, the introduction of newly elected body is Dr. Amanat Ali Bhatti from Innovative Panel as President, Dr. Gul Hameed Khan from Academic Panel as Vice President, Muhammad Arshad from Innovative Panel as General Secretary, Dr. Farhan from Innovative Panel as Joint Secretary, Ms. Saima Rafique from as Treasurer, Rizwan Khan from Academic Panel as Social Secretary and four seats from a total of seven seats of Executive Members won by Innovative Panel whereas Academic won rest of the three seats.
