UET Alumni (Session 1966) Get Together

Lahore ( ) Alumni of various departments from (Session 66) University of Engineering Technology (UET) Lahore visited UET. Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Syed Mansoor Sarwar, Retired Dean Faculty of Electrical Engineering Prof. Dr. Noor Sheikh, Retired Chairman Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering Prof. Qasim Zadi, Retired Major Mahmood Ahmad Malik, CEO, SECCO Pak Pvt. Ltd. Sikander Hamid Khan, GM National Power Construction Corporation Pvt. Ltd. (NPCC) Tauqir Ahmed Sharifi, GM National Transmission & Despatch Company (NTDC) Zaheer-Ud-Din, Chairman, Board of Governors Naveed Afraz and other dignitaries and Alumni attended the event. UET Alumnus Announced Scholarships for UET Students in all disciplines.
Addressing the occasion Prof. Dr. Mansoor Sarwar said, “It is a great matter of honor for university and its students that our graduates have been contributing to the development of Pakistan in all engineering sectors through their unique ideas, skills, and talent.” He also said that the idea behind alumni reunion was to connect the old students with UET for getting benefits from their knowledge, experiences, expertise in the up-gradation of curriculum, labs, and techniques to compete for the other institutes. Youth must follow the footprints and success stories of UET legends for the multiple growths of Pakistan in all sectors.
At the end of the event, Alumnus visited their respective departments and recalled their memories in classroom settings. They also took selfies in front of their previous rooms for the memory
