UET Lahore organized a training workshop on “Structure and Properties of silicate, Alumina and Aluminosilicate Ceramics and their Applications. Dr. Abbas Saeed Hakeem from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) Saudi Arabia was the guest speaker. The purpose of this workshop was to enhance the capacity building students regarding modern technology. While addressing to the participants Vice Chancellor UET Prof. Dr. Fazal Ahmad Khalid said, “more than 10 programs of UET are approved under Outcome-Based Education (OBE) system. The current era is very diverse, in which different innovations are being made and various issues of engineering and technical skills are being resolved, which is definitely revolutionizing every sector.” Senior Teachers from Metallurgical Department and a large number of students also participated in the workshop. At the end of the session Vice Chancellor, UET Prof. Dr. Fazal Ahmad Khalid presented the souvenir to the honorable guest
